Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) is a multinational automobile based in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. In 2010, Toyota employed 317.734 people in the world, and was the world's largest producer of automobiles in 2010 by production.Toyota is the ninth largest company in the world by revenue.
The company was founded in 1937 by Kiichiro Toyoda as a spinoff from his father's company Toyota Industries to create automobiles.
