Bollywood new Movie 2012 Ek Tha Tiger (Salman Khan and Katrina kaif) is a romantic thriller film which tells the story of a Trinity College scientist suspected of selling missile technology secrets to Pakistan. For this The government of India sends a secret agent, whose code name is Tiger (Salman Khan), for finding out aboutactivities of the professor. Salman Khan ( Tiger) falls in love with care taker Zoya (Katrina Kaif) of the professor.Zoya ( katrina kaif ) is studying at a fictional dance academy located at TCD, and together they embark on a roller-coaster journey that takes them from Dublin to Istanbul then to Kazakhstan and Chile.

The official poster was released in August 2011,whilst the film's first teaser was released on 10 May 2012 along with the film Ishaqzaade and also in YouTube.The promo was extremely well received by the film industry and also the common people, as the response almost crashed the hosting server of Yashraj productions, making Ek tha tiger the most awaited movie of 2012. The theatrical trailer received more than 1 million views upon release within 2 days, making it the largest for a Bollywood film.Despite reports that Pakistan had banned the airing of the film's promotional material, a spokesman for PEMRA has told a Pakistani website that no such ban is in place.
Controversy
A controversy erupted when a section of the media highlighted the resemblance of deceased RAW agent Ravinder Kaushik's case with the film's story. Yash Raj Films decided not to screen the film for Ravindra Kaushik's family, who had sent the filmmakers a legal notice asking for a screening of the film.
Music/Soundtrack
Music is Initially signed by film composer Pritam. However, he gave up on the next film due to date clashes with other projects still Yash Raj Dhoom 3. Chopra, being impressed by the work of a film composer Sohail Sen just-released recently as Brother Ki Dulhan, I roped ia frame of the film. The text was written by Neelesh Misra. A song titled Jaaniyan was sung by the ASIF Nawaz, Pakistani singer is reported to have leaked from the soundtrack of the film. However, the YRF officials denied the report, saying that the album is in danger of being drawn leaked.A one called the release "Masha Allah" crooned by Wajid Ali and Shreya Ghoshal July 12, 2012.

"Ek Tha Tiger" is one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 and is expected to shatter all records at the box office with a tag of 'Sure Shot Blockbuster'. Talented Sohail Sen has been roped in with Sajid-Wajid as guest composers. For the lyrics department, names like Neelesh Misra, Kausar Munir and Anvita Dutt Guptan makes sure that the soundtrack results in a grandiose affair. Well, with four originals, few remixes and one instrumental let the Tiger roar!

Ek Tha Tiger doesn't match upto the expectations and lacks the repeat value with a very limited shelf life. Sajid-Wajid's 'Mashallah' is the only major attraction and the three songs by Sohail Sen falls in the average category with minimum innovation where his previous two soundtracks: What's Your Raashee (2009) and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011) were far more impressive, but considering the presence of Salman Khan, 'Banjaara' and 'Saiyyara' are going to be the 'Hot Seller'.
